Gate-gate. The Fucking World’s Gone Fucking Mad

“Best you learn your fucking place…you don’t run this fucking government…You’re fucking plebs.”

Black and white as a badger cull, and hopefully, bloodier. Simple deduction means that either the cop or the minister is lying. If the minister, it was a lie in cold blood to save his skin. If the officer at the gate, presumably because he is part of some spontaneous sinister conspiracy to get Mitchell sacked what do I know.

Mitchell has clearly been shown to be a liar and a slag by the Telegraph transcript. He did use ‘the words attributed to him’. He refuses to deny it or say what he said. There is now enough evidence to hang a nun. But rather than his head being on a spike before tiffin, which would happen in a rational age, ‘the story is now going away’ according to Wednesday morning’s BBC news.
The FUCKING world’s gone FUCKING mad. Sorry about the offensive language, but now anyone can use it with impunity. Also we can now lie whenever we like because apparently nobody can tell the difference. So contrary to the evidence of your own eyes, I have not just used the words you might attribute to me.
This is a good indicator for those interested in testing their sanity – if you’re happy with the BBC’s Happy Ending, and hadn’t noticed that either Mitchell or the cop had to be lying, you’re CRAZY. You have lost the ability to tell truth from falsehood. You can no longer add up 2+2 and get the right answer.

‘Downing Street said “different versions” of the same incident had emerged and it is understood that Mr Mitchell will not be asked to resign unless evidence proving that he lied emerges.’
Which translates as: ‘He went to a good school, that’s all the proof I need. So I naturally believe him before P.C. Pleb.’
I’d have thought the logical conclusions were obvious to the spottiest trainee cub reporter on the Auchtermuchtie News Shopper. Especially one who had read the Hillsborough Report last week, and seen that one positive was the relative veracity of contemporary police notebooks, as again in the case of Ian Tomlinson. The physical Laws of Truth state that when two contradictions collide, they create a lie. Gategate is trying to defy that law. The government is trying to pretend that gravity doesn’t exist.

By ignoring the cack-handed cover-up, and abandoning all pretence of logical thought, the media are dragging us into ‘the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.’ This was their darkest hour. It’s like the Washington Post trying to get Nixon impeached for breaking windows at the Watergate Building. As if Edison’s first sound recording were presented today, and the assembled media were totally obsessed by ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’, and not even see the machine or grasped the concept of recording. Nobody will again be able to confidently offer common-sense as a counter to deception. Never again will any politician be able to perch in Trafalgar Square like Nye Bevan and say of a Foreign Secretary leading us into a mad war:

If he is insincere, he is a liar and should leave office. But if he is sincere in what he is saying, and he may be, then he is too stupid to be a minister.

Or words to that, or any other effect. The maelstrom of spin and micro-spin will swallow all accountability and truth. Then the police will really take over the gates, having been given a free hand by the sophists and eunuch pageboys of the media.

Some make the idiotic mistake of confusing this lie with standard-issue manifesto fantasies and other broken promises. But most of all they have a bucket over their head which they are banging with a ladle, shouting LALALALA! They have this terrible cognitive affliction which prevents them judging on the overwhelming balance of the evidence and which stops healthy minds trying to square circles. Obviously their defunct dogma is a paranoid cornered rat in today’s society, but that is no excuse for putting out their own eyes.
If they can explain how the police and the minister can both be lying, or telling the truth at the same time in the same universe, they might convince some of their sanity. But they show no sign of doing so.

The real questions are:
1) Do you think ministers should be sacked for lying about the police to protect their jobs?
2) Do you think police officers should be sacked for lying about the ministers under their protection?
3) Do you think prime ministers should defend ministers they know have lied?
4) Do you think a police officer who lied should keep his job?

When any of those questions have been answered there will be plenty of time to waste in quibbles about what is and isn’t abuse, Latin or not.
