42 berserkers erased in Falluja pilferer – 460th post – 8 Nov 2004 17:21
Well, the long-awaited assault has started, and already 42 terrorists have now been sent one way to the firepit to be roasted at the Devils pleasure. Thousands of US and Iraqi troops have descended on the terrorists nest, and cleared a hospital of terrorists, at least 30 of which have been captured (no doubt the lawyers and other politically correct eejits will be salivating at the thought of getting them off the hook and recycling them into the terrorist network) [reply] [Complain about this post]

Dear pilferer
“already 42 terrorists have now been sent one way to the firepit to be roasted at the Devils pleasure”.

Sir, inspired writing via a good bottle no doubt.

With regard to the hospital destroyed, wasn’t that done by iraqi quislings for PR purposes. Americans stormed the hospital then chuck a few iraqis in front of a tv camera? I wonder if they fired a shot or used a bit of torture during the op? [reply] [Complain about this post]

I see the fact that the terrorists will be completely erased in Falluja within a few weeks upsets you so much. [reply] [Complain about this post]

The funny thing with terrorism that you don’t seem to understand is that if you ‘erase’ them, it will only result in more terrorists appearing. You really need to emply some lateral thinking. You are also misusing the word terrorist. [reply] [Complain about this post]

Your theory is not bourne out by the facts. Terrorism succeeds where it is rewarded not where it is resited. Take this quote from Bin-laden
“We have seen in the last decade the decline of the American government and the weakness of the American soldier who is ready to wage Cold Wars and unprepared to fight long wars. This was proven in Beirut when the Marines fled after two explosions. It also proves they can run in less than 24 hours, and this was also repeated in Somalia. We are ready for all occasions. We rely on Allah”.

You see. What the terrorists like is the (perceived) weakness of free peoples. [reply] [Complain about this post]

And what is the context of this quote?
It sounds like standard issue puff for the troops and domestic consumption to me.

And who’s been ‘rewarding’ terrorism? Do you count the various American regimes which funded Bin Laden, the Latin-American fascist death-squads, and other murderers too numerous to mention?

And it’s not Bin Laden’s choice or judgement which matters here. It is the deep-seated and growing sense of outrage among potential terrorists. And thanks to American foreign policy, there are now more of those than ever.

The destruction of Grozny resulted in Beslan. Where is your evidence that your petty search and destroy missions either search or destroy the right people?

All the evidence points to the fact that the innocent are killed by the ‘anti-terrorist’ actions, and more terrorists created.

The world of your future is one of perpetual war. Think of another tactic. [reply] [Complain about this post]

re: 42 berserkers erased in Falluja Big Mo – 128th post – 9 Nov 2004 20:20
The quote came from an interview that OBL gave to ABS news in 1998.
Terrorism does not come from outrage. It is a tactic devised by losers to terrorise the free people of the world. They are losers because they know that they cannot win their argument. Not even among their own people.

The most persecuted people in the world are black Africans. They are not becoming terrorists (unless they happen to be Muslim). It is the pampered arab/Muslims that are now becoming terrorists [reply] [Complain about this post]

Much of black Africa is poor but not necessarily oppressed – many countries of sub-Saharan Africa have freedom of speech, free media, democracy after a fashion – which cannot be said of many Arab countries.
I do agree that terrorism is RUN by those who cannot win their argument, but in order for it to command any support (after all, rich, comfortable-living Arab terrorists like OBL aren’t gonna blow THEMSELVES up are they) it needs to prey of feelings of oppression and helplessness and have a perceived enemy to tuen on. I agree. But does the helplessness come from oppression of the West. Or from the fact that some arab/mulsim people can’t accept that most arab/muslims would like what we have in the west. [reply] [Complain about this post]

re: 42 berserkers erased in Falluja Pixellated Bunny – 172nd post – 9 Nov 2004 20:57
A lot of it comes from the fact that many Arabs (and it is mostly those in the middle east, not other Muslim nations) are living in unfavourable political situations which are not the will of the people, under regimes backed or established by Western governments – Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Somalia, Palestine, Iraq – for the benefit of those gopvernments, either electorally (Palestine) or in terms of Oil (Iran, Iraq old and new, Saudi etc).
However, it does not help matters that many of the Gulf states are immensely wealthy but keep the money only in the very highest echelons of society while the majority of the population live in poverty. Sadly this is a common consequence of a country being dragged unnaturally from third to first world status without having a chance to do the necessary development in between, so you have a semi-mediaeval social system and a modern industrialised economy. In your dreams.
You are fighting the Battle of the Somme against the Viet Cong. Trying to harpoon a shoal if Pirahna. Raging against the tempest.

You’re so, so wrong.

Ever heard of Northern Ireland. Gave us a spot of trouble for a few years? Multiply that by a hundred and you have something like the problem facing the allied invasion of Iraq.

Then add the language problems, climate problems, supply-line problems, the intelligence no-show, the tribal divisions which keep shifting, making it impossible to know for certain who is remotely on-side today, and you have a recipe for military disaster..

Fallujah is simply a double whammy of intimidation and revenge against the civilian population for daring to or thinking of giving any form of support to the militias. It is the revenge tactic used by the Third Reich.

The operation will make the place uninhabitable and kill anyone who remains. The fact that they’ve stayed proves that they are a terrorist. Whereas in fact, the bulk of the militias would have either left or been killed by the time the Americans finally reduce it to rubble. The victims will be the innocent. It is Grozny all over again. When its resulting Beslan will come, we can’t say. But it will come. And then we will wonder why and try to kill more people in return.

The sheer robotic sterility of the US political mentality is as frightening as anything seen in the bad old C20.

Celebrate your glorious victory while you can. [reply] [Complain about this post]

Yes, isn’t it strange the way that the USA officially supported the IRA for decades (valiant freedom fighters) and only declared them a terrorist organisation when Bin Laden came on the scene (i.e. the USA was affected). Now they are running around in circles in their usual hysteria saying that they are the only people on earth who can sort out terrorism – and that by terrorising the terrorists.
Let’s assume that some army came charging into any city in the USA. First of all they blast the hospitals, then they announce that they feel free to kill anyone in sight and won’t bother to even count the corpses. Smash down every door that is shut (“must be terrorists, who else would shut the door to keep us peace lovng – for us – Yanks out?”)

Would the residents of any city USA be standing along the road welcoming their ‘liberators’ or would they be shooting? [reply] [Complain about this post]

The psycotic obscenity and hate-driven insanity of the American policy is almost too much to think about.
I don’t know even if I’m apologising for them by using words like ‘insane’ which imply they don’t know what they are doing and can be excused in some way.

As for Bushite Onanistas who infest these boards with their adolescent death-worship, they are below contempt. At least Bush is making billions of dollars for himself out of this. What’s in it for these creatures of the night? The slimy gratification of hanging on to the ideological coat-tails of a mass-murderer. What is the difference between them and the dehumanised worshippers of OBL? At least they have the excuse of generations of exploitation and cultural humiliation and having their identity repeatedly destroyed and outraged before their eyes.

What do these comfortable middle class warriors have to beef about? Maybe they are also victims of the same system, and their desperate need for their Two Minutes Hate is a measure of how low WE have sunk as a culture under capitalism.

(I’m sorry, it has to be capitalism by the way – it IS the system we live under. It’s no use trying to blame Lenin or Fidel Castro for the problems of today’s society). [reply] [Complain about this post]

“It is the revenge tactic used by the Third Reich.”
Almost correct little, you forgot to elaborate but I shall do the business for you.:-

The Soldiers of the Third Reich were experts when dealing with Terrorists and Partisans, they perfected methods of dealing with this threat.

If you are faced with terrorists then “give them terror back a hundred fold mutiplied”, was the watchword and it worked.

Of course the soldiers of the third reich did not have TV crews with marxist reporters scrutinizing every massacre, if they did, they would have made short shrift with them. [reply] [Complain about this post]

Nor will their be anymore propaganda photos issuing from that ‘hospital’. Why on earth western new agencies accept at face value that some patient was the victim of a US bombing raid with no evidence to support such a claim is reason number 1001 I don’t trust the news media. Yeah, didn’t you know, they do it themselves for the camera.
It’s a small price to pay for resulting propaganda.
This is some of the most disgustingly rancid hate bile I’ve seen on this board for a while.
